Mr. Christopher Pater, Attaché for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, Homeland Security Investigations, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security visited this IP Branch of the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office at 16:30, February 16, 2017 Mr. Christopher Pater, Attaché for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, Homeland Security Investigations, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security visited this IP Branch of the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office at 16:30, February 16, 2017, accompanied by Mr. Kris Kvols, Economic Officer, AIT. Head prosecutor of this Office Shih, Ching-Tang chaired a meeting of all prosecutors; prosecutor Lo, Hsueh-Mei introduced a brief that described the background, function, and main work of this Office. Mr. Pater was interested in IP Investigations and prosecutions trends in Taiwan and Taiwanese interagency coordination on IPR Enforcement. He provided comment about how to exchange information and increase cooperation between Taiwan and the U.S. The meeting lasted 45 minutes, and was very beneficial to both sides.
